Export Data to Excel

To export data to Excel, choose Data Sets | Export | Excel from the main menu of OptiPath. A standard Windows Save File dialog will appear (titled Export to Excel in OptiPath). You must have Microsoft Excel installed on your computer for this feature to function properly.

By default OptiPath will look for an Excel file named OptiPath.xls in the current directory (which initially is the directory where OptiPath is installed) or the directory from which you most recently imported/exported an Excel file. You may use the Save In and File name boxes to locate and export to any Excel file. You do not need to locate an existing file. OptiPath will create a new file if the named file does not exist.

If the named file does exist, OptiPath will overwrite it with the data from the data set being exported.

If the data set is exported successfully, you will be reminded of the file and folder location.
