OptiPath is continually in development. Please use it at your own risk. It is performing well for us on a Windows XP Home Edition operating system.
The version of OptiPath you are using is given on the splash screen at startup and on the Help / About window that can be accessed from Help on the main menu. The version number will be of the form N.YY.MM.DD (for example 0.04.05.18) where N is the release number and YY.MM.DD is the date (year, month, date) of the release. More recent versions (0.04.05.23) will have a larger version number than older releases (0.04.05.18) (0040523 > 0040518).
If your version of OptiPath is earlier than 0.04.07.15 you will need to install a new version of the database with the new version of OptiPath. You may have to manually delete or rename your old database file in the installation directory (see Installation for details).
